The Sales Administrative Support Specialist is responsible for answering general help questions from sales staff regarding the company software, for example CRM. They will be responsible for training new sales staff on how software is used in their daily tasks, creating training documents for the software, being the power user for all relevant sales software, and other general administrative responsibilities for the VP of Sales. This position will grow as the employee's skills develop.


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The lists below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum High School Graduate/ College Preferred

  • Years of Experience: CRM/ CPQ/ ERP experience preferred, customer service experience preferred, training experience preferred

  • Language Skills:Must speak English fluently

  • Driver's License: Required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experienced with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, CRM, and ERP.

  • Experience with screen capture and annotation tools.

  • Ability to work independently and communicate with senior management.

  • Organize and prioritize work and find solutions to problems.

  • Possess a problem-solving attitude and a strong critical thought process.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Comfortable speaking to small to medium sized groups.

Essential Functions

  • Use creative problem solving to answer various questions from sales staff.

  • Create professional training materials for sales staff for relevant software.

  • Train new sales staff on relevant sales software.

  • Lead communication efforts when processes and/or software changes occur.

  • Encourage and re-enforce proper usage of sales software.

  • Run reports for sales management and have a basic understanding of Sales KPIs.

  • Independently coordinate with sales staff and management.

Work Environment

Hybrid work environment: In-Person work required in branches throughout the southeast with Headquarters in Raleigh when training sales staff or attending in-person meetings. Remote work the remainder of the time.
