Position Purpose: The Sales Assistant III is responsible for providing sales and service support to achieve sales retention, growth and profitability goals.
Assists sales leadership with follow up phone calls for scheduling, meetings, calendar management and other administrative support as needed Assists telesales with development of presentations, reports, documents using Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Provides phone and email support for telesales
Responds to phone and e-mail inquiries from internal and external customers in regards to sales/service issues.
Resolves customer and/or agent issues through research and investigation with internal departments
Processes and ensures accuracy of Individual Medicare applications, including obtaining missing information.
Develops and maintains a professional working relationship with internal and external customers. Ensures successful and accurate ordering of collateral, enrollment packet requests, and other related processes.
Tracks leads through the sales database (Salesforce.com). Maintains records through database maintenance.
Maintains regulatory files for sales team May serve as a department delegate on administrative projects and committees as necessary
Education/Experience: High School diploma required.
College degree desirable. Minimum three years administrative support or related experience, preferably in sales and/or health insurance environment. Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
License/Certification: Valid health and life license preferred in applicable state(s), but not required
