Blue Diamond Growers (BDG) is seeking an experienced Account Representative Global Ingredients Division to join its winning team in Sacramento, CA. The Account Representative is responsible for administering all aspects of sales contracts and shipments for domestic and export accounts for the Global Ingredients Division to ensure on-time shipments, contract completion, regulation compliance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary contact with customers and brokers in relation to contracts and orders; maintain and build positive partnerships between BDG and customers/brokers Administer customer contracts in accordance with Global Ingredient Division, and BDG policies Facilitate accurate and timely shipments in accordance with customer schedules, contracts, and payment terms Maintain accurate customer records and ensure documentation of essential information; Assure compliance with governmental and food safety regulations Responsible for accurate invoicing of product shipped, including correct payment of broker commissions, and preparation of debit and credit memos as needed Work with customers, brokers, Sales and Planning to forecast upcoming production needs and shipment volumes and timing. Monitor and maintain appropriate levels of inventory, and plan for logistics needs. Address and resolve customer concerns and arranging returns or reimbursements as appropriate. Partner with Quality Assurance department to support complaint investigation. Utilization of customer complaint software required. Provide ongoing customer service, operations and logistics planning support to enable future volume and margin growth Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by Customer Service Manager Qualifications: Two (2) years’ experience in account management, order processing, handling of billing/invoice documentation, and contract/account administration Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point Strong organizational, time management and problem solving skills Ability to handle multiple tasks with strong attention to detail Exemplary customer service skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated teamwork and team building skills in producing results and meeting organizational objectives Superior professionalism responding to challenging situations Ability to adapt and encourage other individuals in a constantly changing environment Additional Preferred Qualifications: Export knowledge and experience Experience working in an ERP system, preferably SAP Experience working with agricultural products and food safety regulations Knowledge of transportation/logistics procedures Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in business, agribusiness, or related field of study, strongly preferred.
