The Sales Account Manager (SAM) is a field based position charged with enrolling Medicare beneficiaries, residing in a skilled nursing or assisted living facility, into the UnitedHealthcare Institutional Special Needs Plan (ISNP) or the UnitedHealthcare Assisted Living Plan.

If you are located in the Northwest, IN Territory, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the national sales model to generate leads and enroll beneficiaries into the UnitedHealthcare Nursing Home or Assisted Living Medicare Advantage plan

  • Develop and manage account specific strategies to educate and engage facility personnel, resulting in the generation of interested residents and/or families (responsible parties)

  • Utilize traditional sales strategies to uncover needs and introduce features and benefits of the plan

  • Generate enrollments consistent with targets established for the territory

  • Document all activity to ensure compliance with Medicare Marketing Guidelines

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior sales experience in a B2C or B2B setting

  • Use of a CRM preferred or the ability to show technical skills

  • Demonstrated account management skills (including planning, documentation and measurement)

  • Must have, or be able to obtain, appropriate state licensure within 90 days of hire date

  • Maintain licensure and product certification based on policies and procedures

  • Ability to work a variety of hours, early morning, evenings and weekends, as required by various sales activities

  • Demonstrated experience meeting or exceeding sales goals

  • Must maintain a state driver's license or arrange for transportation in the field

  • Ability to travel 90% throughout the designated local territory

  • B2B and B2C experience

The aftermarket account rep will report to the Director of Aftermarket Sales and will be instrumental in achieving the department's business objectives through profitable revenue generation. This is a territory sales position, majority of time spent will be in the field conducting business to business sales calls. The responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to: * Daily use of our customer relationship management system. * Quoting and selling repairs, preventative maintenance and maintenance contracts, parts and rental * Territory development with a focus on customer acquisition and retention * Team with the Branch Manager to develop new accounts * Collaborate with the sales department to generate leads for new equipment and aftermarket * Incorporates Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities * Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications * High School diploma, or GED equivalent * Knowledge of forklifts and/ or construction equipment is a plus; however, candidates with comparable industry experience, a strong sales acumen and record of achievement will also be considered * Strong customer service skills * Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills * Proficient in the use of a personal computer and various software applications * Self-motivated * Must have valid driver's license, clean driving record and automobile insurance. * Computer programs - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook,& the Internet * Language Skills - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. * Mathematical Skills - Intermediate: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. * Reasoning Ability - High: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instruction furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
