Sales Account Manager

HIROTEC Manufacturing America, located in Fayetteville, Tennessee, is part of the HIROTEC Group, headquartered in Hiroshima, Japan. HIROTEC Group delivers body-in-white closures, exhaust systems, flexible closure manufacturing, and tooling and stamping dies to automotive customers around the world. With a US headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI, HIROTEC Group operates 29 facilities in eight countries.

Currently, we are seekinga Production Sales Account Manager to become a part of the HIROTEC team.



Summary:

HIROTEC is expanding its production operations to Fayetteville, TN. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a well-rounded sales background to support this new business unit.

Essential Duties and

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately communicate and sell HIROTEC Manufacturing Americas products and services including the ability to develop and deliver persuasive presentations.
  • Effectively manage assigned accounts with an emphasis on developing strong relationships within all levels of the customers organization, including building rapport with the key decision makers and influencers.
  • Take leadership in developing and successfully executing new sales strategies and opportunities inside North America OEMs.
  • Identify, articulate, and effectively communicate key trends, market conditions, and new program direction that can assist in achieving HIROTECs sales goals and objectives.
  • Manage the entire new program proposal process through project SOP, including but not limited to, initiate RFQs, coordinate cost details & feasibility, submit quotations, verify any changes in conditions of sale, negotiate and follow up with customer as necessary, obtain required approvals, finalization of invoice, prepare, update, and manage all required information in SAP, etc.
  • Collect and report quarterly on customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidate should have a bachelors degree and 5 years related experience developing, managing, and closing on new business opportunities, and the proven ability to cultivate relationships within all levels of the customers organization and other stakeholders. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Must have a sound technical aptitude with a thorough understanding of stamping, automation, and manufacturing applications. SAP experience is preferred. Excellent written and oral communication and negotiation skills, in addition to proven computer skills required. A willingness to travel, work weekends/holidays, and a willingness to entertain during & after working hours is required.

The CSM develops and maintains positive relationships with commercial customers by managing the acquisition and delivery of products, providing ongoing customer service, and maintaining expert knowledge on parts and inventory. The CSM exceeds customer's expectation by delivering WOW! Customer Service to all AZ Commercial accounts by Living the Pledge everyday. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully maintaining and developing commercial sales. Develop new accounts through face to face and telephone contact with potential customers * Act as the primary contact for commercial customers; Actively maintain open lines of communication between AutoZone and commercial customers * Ensure efficient delivery of products by planning delivery routes and managing drivers. Ensures appropriate delivery documentation is generated for each delivery * Act as a consultative partner to commercial customers by maintaining expert knowledge on automotive parts and industry; Conduct research to guarantee the customer is offered the 'right part for the right price' * Maintain records and billing for commercial accounts; processes returns and reconciles accounts * Visits commercial accounts and ensures accounts are serviced and deliveries are made as promised. Contribute to the AutoZone 'one-team' environment by assisting customers and AutoZoners with various aspects of the business * Build and maintain strong relationship with management team. Assists with training and developing drivers, commercial specialist, and other AutoZoners as directed by the SM or DM * Maintains a safe working environment while ensuring AutoZoners are implementing those practices including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) * Follows proper accident and claim procedures. Complies with safe driving rules and procedures and ensures all Commercial Zoners have approved driver status * Properly maintains vehicle(s) and takes the necessary steps to report vehicle maintenance issues. REQUIREMENTS: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required * Effective leader with excellent communication skills, strong decision making abilities, and excellent selling skills * Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise * Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the business needs, including holidays, evenings and weekend shifts Autozone, Inc.
