Create and execute strategy to grow Finisar revenues in Northern California. Work with, support and help manage Distributors, VARs and System Integrators.

  • Create and execute a sales revenue growth strategy

  • Build & Enhance Finisar brand name in the Bay Area and make strong customer relationships

  • Ensure product roadmaps are aligned with customers and end-users

  • Manage day-to-day business: backlog, shipments and inventory to ensure FNSR meets the customer's requirements and FNSR hits their Quarterly revenue targets

  • Sales Development Identifies pursues and tracks new opportunities. This includes OEM, Data Center, Carrier, VAR and System Integrator type opportunities

  • Leads, trains, coaches, supports and tracks performance of all accounts in his/her territory

  • Ensures forecast is entered on time and verified through multiple customer sources

  • With FNSR legal, negotiates NDA, 3PL and supply contracts to Finisar's best interest

  • Price/share negotiations maintains majority share position and always receives last look

  • Monitors and tracks competitors in territory

  • Available, accessible and responsive to requests

  • Expedites resolution of Quality Issues

  • Builds relationships at all levels

  • Willing to travel at least 40% of time both domestically and internationally

  • Documents all customer interactions with a summary and action items

  • Project manage the Finisar product customization process: mini-PIP process:

oFrom the start where RSM must submit the mini-PIP form which fully describes all customizations required by the customer

oTo the end where First Articles are supplied

oTry to use Engineering samples instead of First Articles at every opportunity


  • Recent college graduate with BS technical degree, EE or Industrial Technology or equivalent

  • Excellent skills at organization, prioritization, attention to detail and follow-through

  • Excellent skills in verbal and written communications

  • Understands the critical aspects of Key Account Management

  • Professional image, personable, team player, always treats everyone with respect and dignity

About the Role CrowdStrike is looking for an Enterprise Account Manager to help with the day-to-day operations of our Customer Success program. Responsibilities * Responsible for selling CrowdStrike's Falcon Platform to and maintaining relationships with existing account * Build and manage relationships within our customer base * Report sales activity and forecast to senior sales management * Manage fast and intricate sales cycles in a team selling environment with existing customers * Identify and close up-sell and cross-sell opportunities * Proactively identify and prioritize existing accounts to focus efforts within a defined territory which is based on perceived risk, potential growth, strategic value and renewal time frame * Develop specific account plans for each customer that outlines their critical success factors for renewal and customer adoption of new products * Have a holistic understanding of the CrowdStrike products and working knowledge of complementary products and services Business Value Management * Manage customer success thru the use of our Business Value program. * Compare Business Value assumptions with actual results. * Assist with improving the program based on customer feedback and results. What You'll Need * 2+ years of consultative account management or sales experience. * Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize multiple, high-priority tasks. * Ability to interact with people at all different levels including senior management. * Display unimpeachable judgment and discretion in handling confidential information. * Flexibility to perform job tasks outside of job description when necessary. * Have a strong working knowledge of SalesForce.
