This is a dual role consisting of both Business Development activity as well as Account Management activity. Perform functions to plan for, manage and control the assigned territory sales operations, guided by precedent and working within the limits of established policies.
Our Account Manager, Laser Projection Products will work out of a home office and will be centrally based around the Los Angeles, CA area. Relocation is not available for this position.
How you will make a difference @ FARO:
Identify and target sales opportunities throughout the assigned territory.
Develop strategy to embed yourself in target accounts, developing the integration and implementation of Laser Projection solutions.
Evaluate customer requirements; including installation location, mounting requirements, customer engineering drawings, CAD data, and projection requirement plans.
Perform product solution demonstrations to expose product capability and advance the project.
Utilize all available resources including sales management, Inside Sales Specialists, Applications Engineers, marketing and others to support your business plan.
Act as point of contact and provide technical support for targeted prospects during the evaluation and implementation stages.
Work as part of the sales team to generate ideas for company sales opportunities, processes and systems.
Provide feedback to FARO R&D for product enhancement.
Generate sales revenues to exceed budget, by following our proven sales process.
This position requires:
Broad experience in professional/consultative selling, business development, and proven success as an individual contributor.
Expert understanding of sales process and Task Based Opportunity Management.
Min 3 yrs. proven and successful track record in sales of Capital Equipment/Industrial Sales preferably in the Laser Projection market
Experience working with fabrication companies and their shop floor employees
Experience working with senior management decision makers
Knowledge of CAD
Ability to work independently
Ability to travel extensively within territory
Valid driver's license with excellent driving record
