About the role

Blackbaud is looking for Prospect Account Executives who will be focused on selling Blackbaud's suite of Financial Management applications for Nonprofit and Governmental organizations.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing sales activities to exceed assigned revenue objectives.

  • Building out territory plans and executing against those plans by following Blackbaud's solution selling methodology

  • Prospect (cold calling, following up on leads, completing RFP's etc.)

  • Provide and or coordinate appropriate resources such as online demonstrations and proposals when needed to educate clients and advance sales cycles.

  • Working closely with professional services to present a total integrated solution.

  • Build and maintain an accurate pipeline and timely sales forecasts to management.

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer industry trends in the assigned territory

  • Approximately 30% - 50% travel is required.

What We'll Want You To Have:

  • Financial Accounting experience is a must for those with no sales experience looking to make the jump (CPA and or masters in accountancy preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience in positioning and selling financial and accounting focused/fund accounting solutions.

  • Knowledge and experience working within a solution-selling or consultative selling methodology.

  • Strong focus on acquiring new business while continuing to cultivate existing account relationships.

  • A proven track record of consistent over quota achievement within a solutions software vendor.

  • Entrepreneurial drive and work ethic.

  • Grit

  • Bachelor's degree required ( accounting preferred )

  • Approximately 30% - 50% travel within assigned territory is required.

VIEW JOBS 11/7/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-05T00:00 Manager, Finance, and Accounting - Gourmet Foods Purpose of Position: The Manager, Finance and Accounting, is responsible for facilitating timely, highly accurate Financial Statements, Budgeting, Forecasting and Variance Analysis of the ongoing performance of the Gourmet Foods/Shari's Berries business on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. This position will be part of the Accounting and Finance department, report to the VP of Finance & Accounting and work closely with department heads. Additionally, this position with interact with Finance personnel from the corporate office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Prepares and manages Gourmet Foods/Shari's Berries financial reporting which includes weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual results; annual budgets and quarterly forecasts; present results utilizing Excel, Microsoft Dynamics AX and COGNOS/TM1 Financial Budgeting to Senior Management of the Company. * Responsible for one-on-one interaction with department heads and general manager for the preparation of departmental actuals, budgets, and forecasts. * Review and supervise the work of 1-2 staff with direct reporting responsibility including day to day supervision, review of their work, goal setting, career development, and performance appraisals. * Maintain documentation supporting accounting controls under SOX. * Apprises VP of operational results and variances to projections; prepares a weekly analysis of all significant financial metrics, including user counts, revenues, cost of goods sold and operating expense estimates, and real-time measurement and performance. * Prepares concise analysis of actual vs. forecast and actual vs. budget variances; includes the development of ad-hoc analysis to help predict variations to ongoing budgets and help authorize ongoing sales and marketing dollars to achieve quarterly goals. Develop monthly and weekly packages for senior management. * Contributes in both an analytical and leadership role to annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, mid-range plans, and ad hoc management reporting, including all required corporate submissions for assigned areas of accountability; must determine the reasonableness of ongoing budget forecasts and metrics analysis. * Continually improves and streamlines actual results and forecast processes. * Perform other duties as assigned.
