We are looking for a Donor Recruitment Associate to work with our community blood drive sponsor organizations in and around Orem, Provo and Central Utah. This position will be responsible for scheduling, planning and helping recruit for blood drives at this community sponsor locations.
Job Profile Summary:
Working closely with District Manager, the Donor Recruitment Associate will assist in drive management activities for the team; which may include: prospecting and scheduling blood drive sponsor, on-site recruitment activities at blood drives, giving presentations to sponsoring organizations, managing drive tasks in CRM (Hemasphere), managing on-line appointment schedules including data entry of appointments, working sign-up tables.
Will be assigned blood drives to actively work either to help cover a vacant account manager territory, or to aid in work-load of an account manager. If covering a vacant territory, the Donor Recruitment Associate will be asked to manage additional meetings and activities normally covered by the Account Manager including meetings with local Red Cross Executive Directors, or Regional Philanthropy Officers, or local volunteers. May be asked to meet with blood drive coordinators, relationship managers and recruitment committees to ensure there is a plan in place to secure sufficient appointments, to achieve the blood drive goal.
This role may also be asked to manage incoming leads and does involve prospecting, it is focused 100% on drive management activities and at times may be asked to cover a vacant territory. This position assists the team which covers Central & Southern Utah along with Southern Nevada, will be asked to help where needed. Some travel will be necessary depending on the needs of the team.
Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures, Safety Quality Identity Potency Purity (SQUIPP), regulations outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other applicable Federal, state and local regulations.
1: Assist account managers in ensuring blood drives achieve goal through drive management activities.
2: Provides additional oversight and record keeping (Hemasphere and OLS) to ensure blood drives are properly managed.
3: Provide sufficient organizational and operational support to blood drive coordinators to ensure achievement of collection operation and annual goals.
4.Prospect and secure valuable blood sponsors as needed throughout team geographical area
5.May be asked to schedule and implement education programs for Sponsor contact, recruitment committees, line volunteers and volunteer tele recruiters within assigned groups to assist in meeting collection objectives and to comply with all ARCBS directives, Code of Federal Regulations, local operating procedures and other related regulatory requirements.
6: As needed, may be asked to help cover vacant territories, some travel will be required.
7: Maintain accurate records in Hemasphere to provide tracking and statistical data on Sponsor group performance.
8: Appropriately utilize tools, technology and strategy provided by the organization to enhance customer service, efficiency and productivity.
9: Work with local volunteers, Executive Directors, and Regional Philanthropy Officers on a regular basis to achieve American Red Cross Mission in regards to blood operations
10: Perform other related duties as necessary.

Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and the ability to support implementation of programs is preferred.
Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively are required. Good oral and written communications skills, including training and presentation skills is strongly preferred. A current valid driver's license and good driving record is required.
