Position Summary

This position is responsible for developing and leading the new Sales Academy Program in Customer Acquisition. This role will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining the program by setting program direction, training outline, schedule, and deliverables.

The Sales Academy provides a first-choice destination for entry-level sales associates to grow their sales skills and career through a robust and interactive development experience. Participants will graduate with foundational sales skills and company knowledge, preparing them to easily transition to other sales platforms as they grow their career.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborates effectively with Sales Management to identify each area's needs and adjusts program as necessary to support all sales platforms.

  • Collaborates effectively with Sales Enablement to ensure consistent curriculum.

  • Assists with the development and maintenance of training courses, including instructor led and e-learning.

  • Prepares for and delivers training in an effective and timely manner. Ensures all facilities, equipment, and materials needed for training programs are available, properly maintained, and up to date.

  • Carries out responsibilities in a fair, ethical and non-discriminatory manner.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional training experience, preferably in an inside sales or customer services environment.

  • Blended learning including e-learning experience.

  • Curriculum development experience a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business-related field.

Other Skills/Qualifications:

  • Must be proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Suite.

  • Professional communication skills verbal, written and presentation.

  • Ability to effectively utilize technology/tools to deliver training in multiple formats.

  • Ability to identify learning gaps and individual learning styles and adjust delivery accordingly.

  • Ability to assess if the learning transferred and what needs to happen next.

  • Ability to develop effective business relationships with all levels within the organization and across multiple business units.

  • Strong understanding of business measurements and results.

  • Leadership skills.

  • Curriculum development and instructional design skills a plus.

Physical Requirements

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to offsite offices, customer sites and/or industry and training events may also be required, depending on assignment.

Reporting to the Sr Manager, Quality – Baby & Child Care, this individual will serve as the Quality Assurance leader for the Wipes platform, supporting risk assessment, process validation execution and standard development, non-conformance and complaint investigation, CAPA, change management, auditing of internal and external manufacturing sites, training/mentoring users of new QA standards, and supporting targeted implementation of quality system improvements as needed to deliver business results Scope: * Takes leadership of, or supports, the development and deployment of strategic quality management plans, initiatives and measures which generally have significant scope and impact * Leads or supports assessments of required facilities, functions and suppliers to provide an independent and expert viewpoint. Uses the assessment process to build capability, drive continuous improvement, mitigate risks and ensure compliance to K-C requirements and external laws and regulations * Identifies need for, develops, and executes continuous improvement plans for assigned Platform * Works with multi-functional leaders and stakeholders as required to build capability to ensure sustainable quality results * Ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling, and statistical process control procedures are followed as applicable * Provides Design Change Control support to Project and Brand Quality Teams, as assigned * Initiates and follows up on CAPA and QNC related to the assigned systems * May lead or support the implementation of medium to large business initiatives Qualifications/education/experience: * Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, typically science or engineering-related or equivalent years of experience is required * 10+ years of quality management experience preferred * Direct experience of quality management within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable, demonstrating an understanding of major quality management processes and practices such as GMP standards, HACCP, statistical quality control, product testing, process validation, and quality auditing * General knowledge and experience of Quality Management application within other functions such as R&E, Procurement and Distribution Skills: * Cosmetic & OTC Drug Regulation 21 CFR Parts 700-740, 210 & 211; international quality standards and regulations including ISO 22716, ISO 9001:2015. Medical device experience with 21 CFR 820 and 13485:2016 is also useful * In-depth knowledge of applicable Global regulatory compliance requirements for drugs, and cosmetics, including US FDA, Health Canada, TGA is desired.
