Minimum Qualifications:

A successful applicant will typically have experience as a Miami University RA or SOUL although such experience is not required; have completed at least one year of study at Miami University by May 15; and have sophomore standing by the start of the program. Junior standing at Miami is preferred, but not required.

This is a live-in position for the entire term of the appointment. Room and board is provided for the residential experience.

Mandatory staff training prior to the program will be July 2, 2024 - July 6, 2024. Counselors are on duty for the duration of the program:

July 7, 2024 - July 20, 2024. Four to Six counselors will be appointed for a third week to work with the second half of the two-week academic units. They will be on duty from July 7, 2024 - July 27, 2024.

Selected students must complete a finger printed State of Ohio background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

Apply through Student Employment (PageUp) by April 26, 2024 for priority consideration. Interviews will be conducted as soon as possible upon receipt of application materials in order to identify staff in a timely manner.

Applicants must be a current Miami student. Students who graduate from Miami in May 2024 are not eligible
