Job Summary:
We are seeking a Salad/Prep Cook to assist in the preparation of delicious salads, dressings, and side dishes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling salads according to recipes and guidelines.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a prep cook or salad maker
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Responsibilities:
Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits for salads
Prepare dressings, toppings, and garnishes
Assemble salads according to recipes and portion sizes
Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Preferred Skills:
Culinary certificate or relevant education
Experience working in a restaurant or food service setting
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Strong communication and teamwork skills
