Responsible for comprehensive intelligence-related support for the 3rd Marine Air Wing G-2, subordinate Groups and Squadrons at MCAS Miramar, CA. SAIC Intelligence Training SME provides all functions related to 3rd MAW G-2, aviation intelligence training support. This intelligence training support is directed by supported customer in conjunction with Regional Intelligence Training Center (RITC) Camp Pendleton. The Intelligence Training SME will identify, analyze, and implement training and workforce solutions designed to enhance Marine Corp tactical and operational aviation intelligence capabilities supporting training exercises and global operations. The Intelligence Training SME is responsible for building and maintaining excellent instructor and customer relationships; the Intelligence Training SME will work to understand scope, schedule, and deliverables. The Intelligence Training SME will coordinate with training agencies and RITC Camp Pendleton; manage competing schedules and eliminate scheduling conflicts while prioritizing training support efforts. The Intelligence Training SME will possess a secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI access. The primary place of work will be the 3d MAW G-2, MCAS Miramar, CA.

Additional duties may include:

  • Specialized research supporting training material development Support to courseware delivery and instruction Maintenance and updating of existing courseware and training materials

  • Attendance in working groups, operational planning teams, and conferences including content reviews

  • Storage and accountability of 3d MAW aviation intelligence courses and training materials

Location and Travel:

  • This position serves the 3d MAW G-2, MCAS Miramar, CA. 3d MAW will provide workspace.

  • Computer and phone equipment compatible with Marine Corps standards will be provided as required.

  • Training activities will occur in a variety of settings and locations as requested by the government customer.

  • Travel within CONUS is required.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in Marine Corps tactical intelligence.

  • Candidate must have good technical background with a good understanding of analysis methodologies and intelligence processing.

  • Must have working knowledge of USMC aviation operational and tactical intelligence infrastructure.

  • Excellent written and oral skills with the ability to communicate difficult concepts to various audiences.

  • Work independently and/or part of a team to accomplish tasks under limited supervision in a timely manner.

  • Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office applications required.

Desired Skills:

  • Operational experience in Marine Corps intelligence combat operations.

  • Completed the Weapons & Tactics Instructor Course or at least 3-6 years aviation intelligence experience.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree and 10 years' experience or at least 20 years of experience in lieu of degree.

Clearance Requirement:

  • Current & adjudicated Secret clearance and have the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
