Safety & Security Coordinator

The Safety & Security Team is looking for someone who will be responsible for administrative and other support for the team.

Primary responsibilities include:

Safety & Security

• Initial point of contact for the department regarding security administrative matters

• General office management

• Assist in budget management in conjunction with the Security Director

• Assist with badging and door security in conjunction with other trained personnel

• Provide timely communication to the security director regarding all security related activities

• Communication with vendors and contractors-verbal and written

• Assist Director with emergency response plans and related training

• Provide receipts and requisitions for monthly Visa card for Safety & Security Director

• Provide additional security presence and verify that proper security protocols are being followed at all campuses by visiting campuses on a rotating basis on Sunday mornings

Safety (medical) and Security Volunteers

• Coordinate and schedule security/medical volunteers in Planning Center

• Interview and provide orientation for medical volunteers

• Prompt background check applications and Ministry Safe training for volunteers in Safety & Security

• Maintain current licenses and permits (safety/medical and security)

• Coordinate training, range qualifying, active shooter training, and CPR/First Aid for volunteers and staff as needed

• Maintain Ministry Safe database (sexual abuse awareness training)

• Manage background check process for staff and volunteers

The schedule for this position is Sunday - Thursday.
