The RUKCO team is excited for growth. We are currently searching for top-level personnel to build our future team. Our clients in the construction sector are in need of strong safety professionals ranging for Safety Directors to Site Specialists.

We have openings coming in the near future in the Baltimore, Maryland and Washington D.C. markets.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Work to implement organizational and project safety programs
  • Conduct site safety observations, identify areas for improvement, and develop comprehensive reports
  • Conduct safety meetings
  • Facilitate trainings and other safety-related presentations for site personnel
  • Update safety logs, write safety reports and submit these to appropriate staff
  • Participate in incident investigations and analyze incident reports
  • Implement corrective action procedures and track progress on corrective actions
  • Ensure strong communication between RUKCO team, site personnel and client project management
  • Work with other safety professionals, project management and foremen to establish the best safety culture and practices for the project

Minimum Experience and Qualifications required:

  • At least five (5) years of experience in safety
  • Previous experience working within the construction industry operations
  • Industry certifications and accretions (i.e. CHST) are appreciated
  • Value placed on CCIP and OCIP experience

The Patient Safety Program Administrator is a highly visible, energetic champion of quality and patient safety with primary oversight of the facility-wide patient safety program. The Patient Safety Program Administrator: * Proactively addresses patient safety issues including identification of behaviors, performance and strategies to improve patient safety * Defines and develops safety and quality improvements to align with JHCP's movement to become highly reliable and safe * Assists with evaluation of patient safety reported events to analyze and determine root causes of the events * Assists at-risk practices and leadership with action planning * Provides leadership to the site-based designated patient safety officers and CUSP teams * Conducts regular safety calls and develops and delivers professional development and education services to personnel to ensure delivery of safe and effective patient care * Provides input into the development of the safety culture survey * Collaborates with practice and regional leadership to debrief the safety culture survey Education: Master's degree required in HealthCare Administration, Nursing or related field. Knowledge: Position requires knowledge of clinical operations, organization information systems, as well as organization administrative and operation structures and the impact of these related to project management. Must have a current knowledge of patient safety theory, methods, standards and regulatory requirements. Must have a knowledge of risk management principles, evidence-based practices and Lean Sigma principles. Skills: Possess strong organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects at a time. Expertise in the application of patient safety principles including high reliability, patient-centered care and error/harm prevention theory and practice. Must be able to manage and direct diverse groups toward the accomplishment of goals and objectives. Possesses strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization and across organizations. Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.: * Nurse RN licensure in Maryland with eligibility to obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse in other states and jurisdictions preferred * Certified Professional in Patient Safety preferred * Completion of the Johns Hopkins Patient Safety Fellowship Program preferred * Other certifications as required to administer and facilitate selected training programs and assessment instruments Work Experience: Clinical background required. Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations with minimum of five (5) years of healthcare experience with increasing responsibilities. Experience in ambulatory care preferred.
