EXPERIENCE IN FOOD MANUFACTURING A PLUS Duties:

  • Develop and implement environmental health and safety (EHS) programs and policies to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions.

  • Provide training and education on EHS topics to employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Develop and maintain safety data sheets (SDS) for hazardous materials used in the workplace.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills.

  • Monitor and evaluate workplace conditions to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in EHS. Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and requirements.

  • Experience in developing and delivering EHS training programs.

  • Proficiency in conducting root cause analysis for accidents and incidents.

  • Certification in CPR, first aid, or other relevant emergency response training.

  • Familiarity with workers' compensation processes and procedures.

  • Ability to fabricate reports, documents, or other materials related to EHS programs.

  • Knowledge of occupational health principles and practices. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of EHS regulations and be able to develop and implement effective programs to ensure compliance. They should also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data to identify trends or areas for improvement.   • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA guidelines, and workers' compensation laws

  • Experience in conducting root cause analysis and developing corrective action plans

  • Proficient in report writing and data analysis

  • Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or related field

  • Strong knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations

  • Experience in conducting root cause analysis for incidents and accidents

  • Proficient in report writing and record keeping

  • Familiarity with workers compensation laws and regulations
