EXPERIENCE IN FOOD MANUFACTURING A PLUS Duties:
Develop and implement environmental health and safety (EHS) programs and policies to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions.
Provide training and education on EHS topics to employees at all levels of the organization.
Develop and maintain safety data sheets (SDS) for hazardous materials used in the workplace.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills.
Monitor and evaluate workplace conditions to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in EHS. Skills:
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and requirements.
Experience in developing and delivering EHS training programs.
Proficiency in conducting root cause analysis for accidents and incidents.
Certification in CPR, first aid, or other relevant emergency response training.
Familiarity with workers' compensation processes and procedures.
Ability to fabricate reports, documents, or other materials related to EHS programs.
Knowledge of occupational health principles and practices. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA guidelines, and workers' compensation laws
Experience in conducting root cause analysis and developing corrective action plans
Proficient in report writing and data analysis
Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Qualifications:
