Essential Functions
Conduct daily safety audits and discuss findings with site leadership
Observe and report safety hazards to Mill management to ensure employee safety
Support other administrative staff during peak workloads or absences to foster teamwork
Familiarize with Mill policies to contribute efficiently to Facility operations
Ensure compliance with Kimberly Clark storage requirements for materials and products
Establish and uphold an unwavering safety culture for all employees
Promote safety awareness and attitude among staff members
Provide training, reinforcement, and discipline regarding Work Instructions
Maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas at all times
Investigate safety observations and implement corrective actions as necessary
Supervise Operations and Warehouse Training Specialists to achieve safety and training objectives
Provide leadership to full-time regular employees across the platform and throughout the Mill
Support and maintain Leader Standard Work for MAU Supervision
Aid in resolving conflicts between employees, customers, and supervisors
Develop and execute evaluation processes (PDAs/KPIs) and oversee MAU Leaders, ensuring compliance with target dates for full-time regular employees reporting to this position
Monitor training documentation to ensure adherence to MAU policies and regulations
Conduct an annual assessment of the safety program, including Safety Action Plan
Facilitate onboarding process for new associates
Manage OSHA Required Safety Programs and conduct annual OSHA training for all associates
Implement Powered Industrial Truck Training Program
Oversee the development of training materials, standard work, and documentation to standardize processes and ensure employee safety
Establish processes to minimize injury and incident risks to ensure profitability
Collaborate with K-C and MAU Leadership Team to prioritize safety
Perform Safety Audits using SafetyNet, BBS, and PIT Observations
Analyze and track safety data to identify concerns and trends
Develop and train MAU Associates to address and mitigate safety concerns
Provide mentoring and coaching to associates regarding safety practices
Remain on-call 24/7 for all MAU Mill Wide Safety and HR issues such as injuries, property damage, and personnel incidents
Serve on the K-C/MAU Safety Steering Committee
Serve as part of the MAU HR Team
Manage SafetyNet for MAU at K-C
Serve as an OSHA Outreach Trainer facilitating OSHA 10 and 30 Hour Courses for MAU
