We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Safety Manager to become an integral part of our team. In this role, you will ensure a safe and healthy work environment on our construction sites.

Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with the Safety Director to develop safety processes, implement safety policies, conduct regular site inspections, and provide safety training to all employees. You will work closely with project managers and site supervisors to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Cultivate and foster a culture of Safety with Bali employees. Ensure compliance with Bali Safety Programs to enhance incident prevention. Proactively provide ideas for creating safe work areas for affected employees and the general public.

Organize and implement safety programs on Bali job sites across the organizational footprint. Responsible for assessing and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local health and safety regulations. Lead in coaching, mentoring, and training employees to improve safety performance and program effectiveness.

Initiate, perform, and document job site inspections, focusing on hazard identification, hazard assessment and mitigation, and worker training and education. Initiate, coordinate, and facilitate safety meetings with workers, project teams, divisions, and clients. Communicate with clients, trade partners, and regulatory agencies to build relationships, exceed standards, and improve safety culture.

Participate in and advance job hazard analysis in the workplace. Provide training for workers and trade partners on safety-related topics. Prepare comprehensive site-specific safety plans for upcoming projects.

Manage safety budget and make recommendations based on cost-benefit analysis. Investigate incidents, determining root causes and contributing factors through effective root cause analysis. Prepare detailed investigation reports with pictures, sketches, plans, and other pertinent information.

Support and improve Bali safety policies and procedures and participate in safety program review and revision. Issue corrective action recommendations and assist with implementation. Conduct trend analysis for incidents, identifying patterns and key issues affecting our operations.

CA Driver License Perform other duties as assigned. Experience, Education & Skills Two years of experience in the construction-related safety environment CHST Preferred Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) Proficient with Bluebeam Driving to job sites Working knowledge of Title 8 Construction Safety Orders Working knowledge of OSHA Standards Excellent communication, team-building, and interpersonal skills Bi-lingual (Spanish) required Proficient in presentation-building and delivery Proficient in mentoring and leading teams Knowledge of recordkeeping practices Lead by example Proficient in problem-solving and organizational skills Strong desire for growth and advancement in the Safety Field Proficient with safety devices that may include atmospheric monitors and sound level meters Working Conditions The position of Safety Coordinator requires that you are able to lift objects that weigh up to 20 pounds, climb a ladder, squat and kneel, twist and bend. Exposed to constant work in outdoor and indoor weather conditions. Frequent driving to job sites and the ability to walk on uneven, unclean terrain for several hours will be necessary.
