Safety Coordinator
This position requires a significant knowledge of various generally recognized workplace safety, quality assurance programs and regulatory compliance. As the Safety Coordinator, you will immerse in a variety of tasks to support, reinforce, and maintain a high level of safety within the warehouse.
Daily duties will include, but not limited to:
Provide staff with proactive measures to identify hazards and reduce the risk of injuries
Assist with Hazard Assessments and preparing Accident Prevention Programs for staff.
Assist with conducting and leading safety committee and safety meetings
Develop and execute training programs and presentations for staff
Establish methods for improving safety performance and evaluate the probability and severity of accidents to identify where controls need to be implemented to reduce or eliminate risk.
Stay up to date with changing state and federal rules and regulations in the safety arena
