This position handles all aspects of health and safety compliance for the assigned area including people and assets. You will be responsible for implementing and managing EnLink's safety strategy through strong relationships with operations by leading safety training, performing facility inspections/audits, engaging with contractors, as well as reinforcing the company's Health and Safety standards.
Provides support to operations, project engineers, corporate and other groups with the goal of achieving efficient and cost-effective safety compliance for EnLink Midstream assets
Focus on aspects of health, safety and DOT - Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) compliance for all assets
Implement, manage and enhance the safety program, while assisting in safety training, leading inspections, and performing audits to promote employee safety and maintain compliance with applicable Health and Safety standards.
Perform duties necessary to ensure health and safety compliance, including but not limited to oversight of the company's safety training programs, conducting site and contractor incident investigations, safety reviews, hazard assessments, as well as participation in EnLink Midstream public awareness meetings and leading FMCSA/DOT compliance.
Work with operations and assist in the implementation of EH&S programs as dictated by the company
Requires travel to assets throughout the area. Overnight travel will be necessary but should be limited in frequency and in duration.
High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Strong experience with and working knowledge of applicable Occupational Safety & Health Administrations (OSHA) 29 CFR 1910 and 1926 regulations as well as Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations under 49 CFR 385-397.
3+ years of direct experience in the safety field in oil and gas, petrochemical, or similar industry with the ability to implement, administer and evaluate the effectiveness of health and safety programs.
Hands-on experience in providing health and safety training.
Must have the ability to achieve results through influencing others and possess flexibility while being both analytical and detailed-oriented.
