As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will ensure the security of our property and guests at all times. Your responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to, patrolling all areas of property, assisting guests/employees during emergency situations and completing incident reports. To ensure we are providing the best services to our guests, as a Loss Prevention Officer, your duties will entail successfully managing stressful situations while delivering consistently high quality service.

Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.

Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. In addition some states may have additional licensing/registration requirements to be considered for this position. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

VIEW JOBS 3/20/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-18T00:00 SUMMARY Security Officers act as an instrument of corporate policy in the execution of the CFI, Inc. Safety and Security Program. This is accomplished through an impartial and consistently cooperative effort on behalf of uniformed team members and management. DUTIES Provide the initial response to all incidents of a Police, Fire or Medical nature and act accordingly within the scope of duties as a Security Officer. Maintain a uniformed security presence at specified company interests. Manage entry and exit control points at designated properties. Monitor a proprietary monitoring station or front desk (fire alarm panel) as required by law and monitor Security surveillance system. Conduct safety inspections as directed by policy and established procedure. Maintain individual Security activity records, checklists and logs. Write detailed and accurate incident reports as required using computer skills and emails. Respond to basic service requests and perform preventative maintenance on the electronic guest room security system and in-room electronic safes if applicable. Perform lost and found inventory control tasks. Perform traffic control and parking enforcement duties as required. Respond to any security related complaints and take appropriate actions. Assist public safety officers in the performance of their duties as requested and/or required. Perform key control and accounting duties. Perform any other task, requested by management, within the scope of corporate policy. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money, weight measurement, volume and distance. REASONING ABILITIES Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
