Salary: Hourly rate: $18.95 - $22.82

Work days: 238 (8 hrs. per day)

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid Texas driver's license

• One year experience working with electronic fire alarm systems

• Must obtain a fire alarm license (FAL Type) issued by the Texas State Fire Marshal's Office within 6 months of hire.

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Knowledge of communication equipment, personal computers and security software, alarm systems, security cameras, motion detectors, and smoke detectors

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and written reference material

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations

• Ability to diagnose and resolve problems

• Ability to use hand and power tools
