Safety Administrator - Chicago Police Department

MINIMUM QUALFICATIONS

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene or a directly related field, plus five years of work experience in safety management, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience provided that the minimum degree requirement is met

Licensure, Certification, or Other Qualifications

• Valid State of Illinois Driver' s License is required

SELECTION REQUIREMENTS

This position requires applicants to complete an interview. The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, based on the interview will be selected.

Preference will be given to candidates possessing the following:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Healthcare Administration

• Previous experience creating instructional materials, writing lessons plans and/or creating eLearning modules

• Experience with data analysis

• Experience teaching adults and employing adult learning techniques

• Previous work experience in a hospital setting
