Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within a Support Team
  • A minimum of 2 years of Team Leader experience in the Cloud industry
  • Excellent customer service skills the ability to be empathetic, accurate, compassionate, responsive, resourceful, and conscientious
  • Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills - You must be able to convey technical jargon in a wide-array of syntax from beginner level users to developers in our tickets as well as knowledge base articles
  • Establish clear goals and expectations of all team members. Ensure regular feedback, mentoring, and quality assurance to all members of your team.
  • A strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to empower end-users to support themselves using our knowledge base
  • A passion for social media or web-based software
  • An appreciation for easy to use, intuitive software
  • Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on customer issues as well as replicate and document for further escalation
  • A desire to learn, master and teach
  • Awesome sense of humor

Experience/Skills Desired (but not required):

  • Solid experience leading a team of 5 to 10 support professionals.
  • Previously experience working within a global company.
  • Strong knowledge of the SaaS industry
  • Basic understanding of the technologies generally utilized in SaaS solutions, across mobile and web.
  • Experience troubleshooting in a SaaS environment

VIEW JOBS 11/7/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-05T00:00 JOB SUMMARY: This position will supervise a team contract specialists responsible for the procurement of a broad range of engineering and design support services in accordance with the rules promulgated by 23 CFR Part 172, FAR Part 31, the Brooks Act, and O.C.G.A. 50-22-1 through 50-22-9. The selected candidate will direct a diverse range of support activities for GDOT's Office of Transportation Services Procurement Section. The position will monitor, and track workloads and recommend and implement policies and procedures. This position will direct subordinate and staff. JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES: Negotiation of contracts for engineering and design support services in accordance with 23 CFR Part 172 and FAR Part 31. Planning, supervising, training and evaluating the work of subordinates. Prepares contracts in compliance with federal and state laws, rules and regulations of the agency. Reviews & prepares specifications and requirements. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The selected candidate must meet the advertised minimum qualifications to include State Entry Qualifications as well as Agency Specific Minimum Qualifications. STATE ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in business or public administration or a related field from an accredited college or university AND Seven years of experience in purchasing/contracts or procurement related field, OR * Two years of which as a manager or Two years of experience at the lower level Mgr, Purchasing/Inventory (FEM050) or position equivalent. NOTE: An equivalent combination of education and job specific experience that provided the knowledge, experience, and competencies required to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted on a year-over-year basis. AGENCY MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Demonstrated experience understanding scopes of work for engineering and related services associated with transportation projects * Demonstrated experience to analyze consultant and in-house man hours in order to determine fair and reasonable level of effort and costs * Demonstrated ability to develop, monitor and report contract performance and provide performance measurements to stakeholders * Demonstrated understanding of GDOT organization and functions as they relate to acquiring engineering and other services and negotiation for those services. * Demonstrated excellent communication skills; written and verbal * Demonstrated experience collaborating with subject matter experts to review technical information required in drafting and finalizing a contract. *Demonstrated ability to reason and make sound, well-informed decisions * Demonstrated ability to apply innovative solutions in solving problems * Demonstrated ability to research, gather and organize information into a presentable understandable format leading to contract implementation * Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks * Displays high standards of ethical conduct and understands the impact of violating these standards on an organization, self and others * Working level proficiency in Microsoft programs * Committed to providing quality customer service AGENCY PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Demonstrated professional level experience and knowledge in negotiation principles used for establishing contracts; and regulations and policies for services acquisition and contracting. * Demonstrated ability to apply innovative solution in solving problems * Demonstrated experience or familiarity with 23 CFR Part 172 rules and regulations pertaining to Engineering Services for transportation projects * Demonstrated experience negotiating contracts in accordance with 23 CFR Part 172 for engineering services for transportation projects * Demonstrated experience participating in the negotiation for engineering services in accordance with 23 CFR Part 172 for transportation projects IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL GDOT JOBS The interview is just one part of the overall selection process and is not the only criteria used to make the final selection.
