Job Responsibilities
Under general supervision of the Medical Director & Director, provides psychiatric services to the Adult and the Child, Adolescent and their families population. Responsibilities include providing subsequent PMA services on a routine or emergency basis to include psychiatric assessment/evaluation, medication management, medication administration, treatment planning community liaison and staff training. Services will be provided in a culturally sensitive manner.
Provides new and subsequequesnt psychiatric / medical services (PMA - APRN) to adults, children and adolescents including psychiatric assessment and prescription of medication where indicated.
Collaborate and serve as a provider on the Deaf Service Team. Working within this multidisciplinary team to provide PMAs to adults and adolescents. Attend weekly and monthly mandatory meetings as assigned.
Maintains clinical records in a timely manner so that they accurately reflect work performed and adhere to quality assurance standards of the SCDMH.

This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Spartanburg Office, 250 Dewey Avenue, Spartanburg, SC 29303
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing withe clinical experience. Positions in this classification require licensure as a Registered Nurse and certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the South Carolina of Nursing. Some positions require a valid driver's license.
