JOB SUMMARY:

The Rx Support Analyst will perform a variety of functions related to Rx Prescriptions and Prior Authorization requests. This includes communications, both written and verbal, to/from Pharmacies, Adjusters and Patients/Claimants. Multitasking and attention to detail are critical to success in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Works pharmacy queues/sends prior authorization requests

  • Enters overrides in RxClaim

  • Responds to inquiries from Clients, Claimants or other departments within specified time frame

  • Understands Pharmacy workflow

Qualifications:

  • HS diploma or equivalent.

  • Pharmacy Tech Experience STRONGLY PREFERRED, Pharmacy Tech Certification a plus

  • Call Center/Customer Service experience

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. (Excel specifically)

  • Previous call center experience required.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Detail-oriented individual who can work independently as well as part of a team

  • Displays independent thinking to identify opportunities and propose solutions and process improvements ideas
