The Rx Support Analyst will perform a variety of functions related to Rx Prescriptions and Prior Authorization requests. This includes communications, both written and verbal, to/from Pharmacies, Adjusters and Patients/Claimants. Multitasking and attention to detail are critical to success in this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Works pharmacy queues/sends prior authorization requests
Enters overrides in RxClaim
Responds to inquiries from Clients, Claimants or other departments within specified time frame
Understands Pharmacy workflow
HS diploma or equivalent.
Pharmacy Tech Experience STRONGLY PREFERRED, Pharmacy Tech Certification a plus
Call Center/Customer Service experience
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. (Excel specifically)
Previous call center experience required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Detail-oriented individual who can work independently as well as part of a team
Displays independent thinking to identify opportunities and propose solutions and process improvements ideas
