The RVT Sonographer performs ultrasounds and assists with procedures in a collaborative medical environment. This position is also responsible for maintaining equipment certification.
This is a part-time (0.8 FTE) position working daytime hours 4 days per week out of our Edina and Woodbury locations.

Essential Functions:
Perform accurate tracing in order to recognize serious problems and interpret results
Complete sterile setup and assist with Endovenous RFA procedures
Room and prep patients for procedures
Operate treadmill for diagnosis or functional assessment of patients with cardiac disease
Measures blood pressures before, during, and after exercise, and records heart rates, calculates double products, exercise duration, functional aerobic impairment, and other physiologic induce
Explains the procedure to the patient and obtains informed consent
Care for ultrasound machines and maintain certification
Responsible for on call hours
Any and all other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
Degree from an accredited institution in Vascular Technology
3+ years related experience
RVT Board Certified
Ability to travel to clinic locations across the metro up to 50%
Current CPR & BLS Certification

Work in the clinic, office or surgery center during business hours
Travel independently throughout the clinic, office or surgery center (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending, lifting, standing, stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be required
Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlines
Communicate and interact in a respectful and professional manner
Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operations
Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Understand and execute a variety of instructions
Effectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone system
Work independently with minimal supervision
Travel to other work locations, if required
