Family Promise of Great Falls (FPGF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and resources to children and their families facing homelessness. The organization utilizes a variety of programs to assist families, including emergency shelter, day center services, eviction prevention, and stabilization services.

FPGF is seeking an AmeriCorps VISTA member to serve as an Operations Assistant. The VISTA member will play a critical role in expanding the organization's capacity to serve homeless families and children. More than double the number of families are now receiving FPGF services compared to two years ago.

This is due in part to the organization's new service model, which provides emergency shelter and ancillary support services. While affordable housing is the long-term solution to homelessness, there is still an immediate need for shelter and food for homeless families. FPGF provides these services while also working to build affordable housing in the community.

The VISTA member will improve FPGF's community activism and provide operational support for its services. They will also build FPGF's future capacity to serve homeless families by raising funds, marketing services, and communicating with the community. Member Duties : The VISTA member will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Development Director and Outreach Specialist. Responsibilities will include producing and tracking thank-you notes for donations, assisting with public relations, social media, advertising, and marketing initiatives, and contributing to the creation of online and print content. Additionally, the member will gather data for grant and fundraising opportunities, maintain and enhance the organization's website, assist in composing and mailing seasonal appeals, support program guests, process in-kind donations, review and update office documents, and provide other support as needed.
