Position Summary

The Run Coordinator leads a passionate, dedicated team of Run Leads and Coaches who deliver quality run programming to groups of runners of all levels and all ages at Life Time destinations. They will serve as the local leader for 4 areas of the Life Time Run business including Run Training, Social Runs, Running Events and Member Loyalty Programs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implements and executes the LTR Playbook at their respective club

  • Attends national and regional meetings, provides weekly updates to their manager and Regional Run Coordinator

  • Drives Social Run participation through social media, in-club marketing and local and national events

  • Promotes LTR Programs including Run Training products like group training, custom training plans and online coaching through social media and in-club marketing

  • Builds local key running partnerships including formalized partnerships with local running retailers, running event producers and community partners

  • Drives Life Time membership sales through non-access Run / Ride membership and other promotions

  • Works with their manager to monitor the Run OPS and Run Training budgets, and adjusts staffing and schedules as needed to stay on budget

  • Responds to emails from members, team members and managers within 24 hours

  • Drives apparel and other product sales

  • Assists and supports in the casting of local Run Coach and Run Lead positions

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 2 years of experience teaching, training, coaching or leadership

  • CPR and AED Certification within 6 months of hire

  • Ability to use and edit documents in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • MTS (Heart Rate) training within 6 months of hire

  • Ability to view, modify and print PDF's

  • Ability to utilize social media and build/ monitor a Facebook group

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field

  • Certifications in Run Coaching, Group Fitness or Personal Training

  • Experience building social media brand awareness

  • 1 year of experience in developing and implementing run events
