This position has responsibility to work closely with the Respiratory Therapist(s), providing services and product support to clients with respiratory related illnesses.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Will support the daily operations of the Respiratory Therapy Department.
Properly fit customers/clients with CPAP devices, under the supervision of a Respiratory Therapist.
Develop and retain a working knowledge of payment policies and coding requirements related to respiratory related equipment.
Must have the ability to investigate and respond to inquiries from clients regarding shipments, products, and deliveries of certain respiratory related items.

Abides by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to utilize Excel, Word, and other computer programs to support the RT Department
Excellent organizational skills and ability to consistently meet objectives and deadlines
Excellent phone and customer relations skills

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

CNA, CMA, LPN Licensure
Associate Degree in healthcare or related field of interest
