The hospital offers a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) through a partnership with Lucile Packard Childrens Hospital Stanford. Neurosurgery at Dominican is also offered through a partnership with Stanford Health Care. Responsibilities: The RN is responsible for supporting efforts to improve clinical and service excellence of patient care provided.

RN s must be able to identify and apply care skills appropriate to the specific patient age groups served. The RN will participate in the achievement of service targets and process goals. For the staff nurse III and IV it is the responsibility of the RN to complete the requirements and obtain the appropriate approvals and submit the required information by the designated timeframes found in the SNAP policy 8610-420.

ALL REGISTERED NURSES will render professional nursing care to patients support medical care as directed by physicians. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health/Dominican Hospital. The RN shall support Dignity Health/Dominican Hospitals strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities and patient satisfaction. RNDH Qualifications: Experience: Three year minimum ICU experience (ER and/or CIU experience will be considered on an individual basis) Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. AA required / BS Preferred. Licensure: Current and active CA RN license Current BLS certification Current ACLS and PALS certification NIH Stroke certification Annual Dominican Stroke certification education CCRN CAPD certifications desired
