What does a great RPA Solutions Architect, Advisory do?
As the RPA Solutions Architect, you will be a valuable technical resource supporting the Internal Application Portfolio. This role will be a member of the agile product management team working with the business and chief architect to define the internal roadmap related to supporting our internal consumer and client facing components of applications and tools. The solution architect is responsible for providing SME knowledge for automation and application architecture, architectural design, tech debt remediation, risk and mitigation strategy.
The solution architect is accountable for proactively and holistically leading or supporting architecture activities that create deliverables that guide business models, people, process, organizational change, and technology investments in response to disruptive forces and toward achieving targeted business outcomes. This individual is responsible for leveraging Robotics technology to enable the organization's future-state business capabilities, which can enable or alter business processes or practices that, in turn, drive the organization's targeted business outcomes.
Solution architect must be capable of practically applying existing, new, and emerging technologies (Blue Prism) to new and evolving business and operating models. Conversely, they must be able to understand, monetize and operationalize new technologies. The individual in this role develops deliverables that are valuable to the business, including business capabilities, business requirements and workflow. This individual is responsible for facilitating the construction of business models, which may include business capabilities, functions and processes and organization design, as well as working collaboratively with business strategists, process owners and subject matter experts. The role focuses on business technology strategy and targeted business outcomes-clarifying strategic intentions; identifying business outcomes; exploring implications, impacts and risks; and addressing stakeholder questions.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent and extensive related project experience; Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of progressive experience as an architect.
5+ years of business or IT experience with a direct responsibility for strategy formulation and/or translation, business analytics, and program management, application development , middleware, database management or operations.
3+ years of Robotics Process Automation (Blue Prism) experience as a developer and architect.
Expert level experience in one or more of the following areas: strategic planning, leadership, business relationship management and business process management.
3+ years' experience working with Agile project delivery.
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
Infrastructure Design for Highly Available solutions.
Experience with high transaction volume processing systems
Experience with SQL Server & Oracle RDMS
Experience with Solaris, Unix, Linux, and Windows OS
Experience with Apigee, Azure, Red Hat
Deep knowledge of SQL Server migrations is critical
Experience working in ServiceNow, Jira and VersionOne
Experience with Agile Software Methodology
