The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer Analyst defines, designs, develops, configures, tests, maintains and supports automation process solutions to meet business objectives. Analyze issues and new business needs as required in order to provide solutions. Unit test applications to verify compliance with specifications and support system testing. Provide production system support, investigating/addressing issues. Report status regularly to management. Serve as on-call contact for production issues. Advise on best practices. Assist developers and analysts with design, technical, and training issues.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document business processes to identify automation opportunities and assess automation feasibility

  • Analyze and develop detailed process flows while identifying, communicating and documenting technical infrastructure requirements

  • Design, develop, install, maintain and modify RPA programs utilizing UiPath suite of applications and RPA best practice/development techniques

  • Create and document test procedures and scenarios for the UAT phases

  • Compile and enforce design and coding standards, policies and procedures

  • Create re-useable automation framework and libraries

  • Troubleshoot issues that arise in day-to-day running of RPA processes

  • Provide timely responses and solutions as required

  • Support operational, QA and BA teams through analysis, testing and production implementation

  • Create and maintain solutions documentation

  • Help train or support the training of RPA best practices, standards, framework to team members who are participating in RPA development

  • Provide advice and guidance on best practices and development techniques


  • 4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems

  • 2+ years related experience

  • Thorough Knowledge in a leading RPA tool, preferably UiPath;

  • general knowledge or experience with at least one of the following programming languages (.NET, VB, C#, PowerShell);

  • thorough knowledge of software development life cycle;

  • working knowledge/reasonable proficiency in reading MS Office Visio or other equivalent process flow-charting tool or workflow-based logic.
