Responsibilities

This role provides operational support to the royalties, licensing and contract area by interpreting and processing monthly royalty sales data, applying monthly cash receipts resulting from third party sub-licensing agreements to authors accounts, reviewing and completing the monthly royalty sales data process adjustments and preparing month-end reconciliation documents. Distributes royalty statements and checks on a quarterly basis. Position will respond to author inquiries and customer permission requests. Reads, analyzes, interpret and suggests changes to legal agreements. Scan, assign and set up new item numbers in Oracle and Royalties systems. Maintain contract management system by scanning and indexing publishing legal documents.

  • Maintain data integrity, tables and structures within Royalty Tracker, Oracle and other systems to insure accurate calculations and reporting of author's royalty payments, sub-rights and permissions

  • Produce monthly general ledger entries for unearned advances, royalty accruals and write offs.

  • Support the publishing agreements process for products, services and licensing agreements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience*

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting, royalties, and/or legal licensing/contracts

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills

  • Adept at working in PC platform (Word, Excel, and other related software)

  • Excellent verbal and writing skills

VIEW JOBS 9/7/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-12-06T00:00 Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities: The main function of the Transplant Administrative Coordinator includes successfully multitasking the scheduling of patient appointments and tests along with federally mandated patient communication letters, while maintaining solid customer service and professionalism. This position works in a fast-paced environment, answering multiple phone lines triaging patient, internal and external customer needs. Data entry and data maintenance are critical functions of this role as well as consistency in established processes for insurance verification, pre-certification, and medical record creation. Essential Functions: * Covers the front desk/phones for the transplant institute for triage and information gathering * Processes letters as directed within policy timeframes * Enters data, correspondence, and other information into data systems as directed and within policy requirements * Initiates the processing of new patient evaluations via creation of medical records and coordination with other disciplines for clearance * Fulfills the role of receptionist in terms of manning the front desk, answering phone lines, and triaging phone calls and messages as assigned. * Gathers and distributes mail as appropriate * Orders office supplies timely and per instruction * Conducts chart archive and chart retrieval as directed and when necessary * Processes requests for patient records (from and to outside facilities) as directed * Documents appropriately per protocol for all patient contacts including referrals, scheduling, and any other patient communication * Mails documentation to patients following UNOS guidelines and job manual * Prepares charts for new patients and reevaluation patients * Notifies team as appropriate and as directed for patient evaluations, status changes and other items as defined job manual * Manages communications with patients timely and accurately per job manual (letters, evaluation packets, etc.) * Emails schedules for on -all, anesthesiology, education sessions, and other pertinent meetings as directed * Schedules appointments for new patients, existing patients, live donors and pre-surgical patients, and documents appropriately per job manual * Schedules follow-up testing for patients timely and accurately per job manual * Maintains Dialysis Agreements * Prepares, mails, and tracks annual testing packets for patients * Prepares lab requests, as directed by physician, including mailing and entry into the EMR as appropriate * Verifies of insurance with appropriate web-based systems per job manual * Gains Prior Authorizations for patient testing (pre, post, evaluation) * As directed, and per transplant assistant specialty area, prepares agendas and minutes for team meetings * As instructed, schedules meetings, Patient seminars, department meetings, interviews, etc. * Participates in rotation to take minutes in monthly transplant service meeting * As directed, and per specialty area, enters labs and test result data into pertinent EMR for presentations, waitlist maintenance and post patients * Scans records as necessary for physician and clinician use * Maintains transplant statuses in the database (Inactive, active, delisting, etc.) * Enters on-call schedules for all organs and MCS. * Assists with data gathering for TIEDIs and INTERMACS * Assists with tracking pre-listed patients' statuses to ensure follow-up. * Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.
