As a Right of Way Specialist (Utility) you will be responsible for working with our client team to mitigate utility easement conflicts. This will be a full-time, long term position located in Bloomington, Indiana.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with others, on the team, to gather information pertaining to the location and type of utility encroachment identified.

  • Perform deed and easement research to locate and verify easements and encroachments.

  • Prepare documentation, legal descriptions and drawings to communicate encroachment areas.

  • Provide technical office support utilizing Microsoft Office Tools.

  • Perform quality control checks of data gathered to assure complete records for each encroachment issue.

  • Ensure schedules and productivity objectives, set by supervisor, for preparation and resolution of work assigned.

  • Work within a team environment to mitigate utility easement encroachments.

  • Notification to all landowners regarding maintenance activities

  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal stakeholders to represent the encroachment management process

  • Researches and settles encroachment situations

Required Experience - Education and Skills

  • Aptitude to learn quickly in a fast paced environment

  • Good verbal and written communication and documentation skills.

  • Computer and technical skills, including Microsoft Office tools along with AutoCAD or GIS experience

  • Proven work history, strong work ethic and team-player attitude.

  • Ability to work independently within a team environment.

  • Pipeline or utility right of way experience. (preferred)

  • Knowledge of land rights and titles, survey description, legal and engineering terminology, including the ability to read and understand maps and engineering plans. (preferred)

  • Survey, GIS, land and easement, or gas utility experience (preferred)

VIEW JOBS 3/21/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-19T00:00 This position is responsible for the administration and adjudication of REPO Plus claims. This position will entail the receipt and investigation of three to eight new claims daily. Further, this position is responsible for the negotiation and settlement of Auto Property damage claims with various personal and commercial lines insurance carriers on behalf of lender clients. This position will carry a pending claim workload up to 200 claims. This position is expected to maintain a revolving diary to standards set by Management. Responsibilities: * Review condition reports for compensable damage on a daily basis * Investigate coverage via internal and external systems and attach supporting documents to claims * Process claim documents and inquiries related to REPO Plus claims * Prepare and present demands to outside insurance companies * Follow up with claim demands * Negotiate claim settlements with outside insurance carriers * Ensure proper file documentation throughout the claim process * Maintain a closing ratio of 90-100% for a workload averaging 150 new claims per month * Handle a pending of up to 200 claims per month * Maintain a current diary for each assigned REPO Plus claim * Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their REPO Plus claims, including final resolution documents, as required * Process all outside insurance claim inquiries within three business days * Prepare an appropriate referral for files requiring Department of Insurance or Legal Counsel involvement * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * High School diploma required * Bachelor degree preferred * Three to five years of claims or related experience strongly preferred * Industry recognized certifications strongly desired * Collections background desired Come Work For Allied: Allied Solutions is one of the largest providers of insurance, lending, and marketing products to financial institutions in the country.
