ACRT Pacific LLC is currently seeking energetic experienced professionals for the Ready Force Team who enjoy traveling and working outdoors. Our Roving Utility Forester position is ideal for entry level as well as experienced and seasoned professionals with an educational background in forestry, horticulture, arboriculture, environmental studies, conservation or related disciplines and with experience in these fields and line of work.

Contingent at the approval of our clients, our Foresters patrol for hazard trees, perform identification, inspection, and evaluation of trees and brush along utility lines. They also assist in the submitting inspection results to clients with recommendations; Plan, direct, or coordinate the activities of assigned tree clearance crews; Discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access issues; Serve as a liaison between clients, tree crews, and client customers.

Note: This position is designated as a Safety-Sensitive role.

The Rover team travels often throughout California. Rovers receive $35 daily per diem and hotel accommodations when working two+ hours from home office.

We have immediate positions available throughout Lake Arrowhead, California.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Must be able to travel 100% of the time

• 1-year related experience in the green industry or related field OR a 2 or 4-year degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Biology, Environmental studies or related field

• ISA is preferred

• Ability to identify local trees and knowledge of growth rates desired

• Ability to work independently, strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work in rugged terrain and inclement weather

• Map interpretation; preform data collecting using various software platforms

• Valid Driver License and ability to drive and operate a 4x4 vehicle

• Basic use of Excel (sum, totals, simple formulas) and Outlook; proficient in Microsoft Word

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the ACRT Pacific salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to customer contact terms, location, experience, and performance. Other rewards may include Paid Time Off, 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, ESOP contributions, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and other region-specific benefits as eligible.

Salary Range Transparency

For applicants residing in California, the salary range for this role is $28.00- $33.00 per hour.
