The primary purpose of this position is to supervise the routing of daily outbound shipments to customers and other distribution centers within the organization. Must ensure a safe and secure working environment and operate in a profitable manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervision and support of the router

Ensure routes are scheduled and sequenced in a timely, accurate and efficient manner

Analyze existing routes and drive improved efficiencies

Work closely with sales and warehouse departments to determine delivery feasibility

Lead the weekly Ops/Sales Routing meeting

Prepare and/or assist in the preparation of various reports on a daily basis and/or weekly, i.e. route change requests, sequence change requests, new customer requests, Etc.

Maintains routing software system parameters (Roadnet and Mainframe)

Strategically drive changes to processes in order to reduce costs while improving customer satisfaction

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent required

Related Experience:

Strong Proficiency With Microsoft Office Suite (I.E. Excel, Powerpoint, Word, And Access)

Strong Aptitude For Assessing Large Datasets And Deriving Key Performance-Related Insights

Effective Communication Teaming Skills; Capable Of Developing Alignment Across Logistics Functions And Other Departments

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to openly and effectively communicate with all associates.

Must be able to use, or learn to use, all equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) i.e. XATA, and tools used to perform the job. Must be able to perform all job functions safely.

Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position. Must know/have ability to learn MSDS information regarding all material used within the scope of the work. Understand and interpret DOT and other state and federal regulations.

VIEW JOBS 2/10/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-05-10T00:00 Job Description Job Summary: The Night Supervisor is responsible for the complete operations of the store when a more senior level manager is not present. This position will be scheduled primarily on 3rd shift to manage tasks that are typically reserved for nighttime shifts, occasionally position will be scheduled on 2nd shift based on business needs. This position will make appropriate recommendations to the store management team regarding any store concern or opportunity. Where applicable, this position will assist the management team with managing the fuel offer. Principal Duties: 1. Ensure exceptional customer service is being delivered. Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a courteous and timely manner. Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and solicit customer feedback and input. 2. Ensure execution of established safety, security, quality, and store operations policies and standards. Demonstrate knowledge of and follow Wawa's Crisis Management procedures when necessary. 3. Provide direction, motivation, and coaching for associates during the shift. 4. Recognize associates and celebrate accomplishments. 5. Enforce Wawa's cash handling and accountability processes and perform manager functions on register. 6. Administrate check-in of external and internal vendors according to corporate procedures. 7. Exhibit a working knowledge of store equipment and ensure facility and store conditions meet established standards.
