I. Job Summary

Residential Subscription Route Drivers operate heavy-duty trucks and are responsible for the collection of residential household waste or recyclable material. Driver will transport the material to a disposal, transfer or recycle facility when trucks reach legal load capacity. Driver safely maneuvers vehicle in residential environments. Navigates high traffic and congested roadways, driveways, alleyways, and lots.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following tasks.

  • Operates vehicle in accordance with Waste Management Safety and Life Critical Rules, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, state and federal laws.

  • Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and documents checks utilizing the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report). .

  • Immediately reports all unsafe situations or service related issues to Route Manager or Dispatch.

  • Attends and participates in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings as required by Waste Management or directed by the Route Manager.

  • Works closely with Route Manager to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices.

  • Notifies Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.

  • Notifies Route Manager or Dispatch of service interruptions including closed or impassable streets or alleyways, receptacles too heavy to service or potential safety hazards.

  • Communicates customer requests to Dispatch or Route Manager.

  • Completely dumps all receptacles and leaves the customer's location clean and free of debris.

  • Follows route assignments as directed and completes end of day documentation and check out process.

  • Performs all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch and assisting other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.

IV. Qualifications

A. Education and Experience

  • Education: None Required.

  • 1+ years of recent/previous CDL driving Preferred

  • Candidates without any CDL driving experience are encouraged to apply. We will provide extensive "On-The-Job" training and support.

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • Legally eligible to work in the United States

  • Hold a current Class A or B Commercial Drivers License with an air-brake endorsement.

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

  • None required.

VIEW JOBS 1/11/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-11T00:00 SUMMARY: The Accounts Payable ("AP") Control Analyst is responsible for managing the payment schedule of the Accounts Payable Department, which includes, but is not limited to, check printing, ACH and wire payments. The incumbent generates and analyzes control reports to ensure invoice and payment parameters are being met, while working to increase customer service levels to internal and external stakeholders. The AP Control Analyst partners on cross-functional issue resolution and identifies process improvements to ensure ongoing compliance with expected standards. The incumbent is responsible for executing both monthly control and ad hoc reports in accordance with company policy and will direct assigned resources as required to ensure the payment cycle remains on schedule and within required parameters. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Manage payment process in accordance with company policy * Run, review and analyze both control and ad hoc reports, such as aged trial balance and discount reporting; partner with management to drive process improvements * Provide required reporting on a monthly basis to the Senior Accounts Payable Manager on key payment metrics to ensuring standards are maintained or exceeded with the goal of ensuring excellent customer service is maintained throughout the payment process. * Manage the return payment log and ensure adequate follow-up with internal partners to resolve issues in a timely manner. Provide monthly status reporting to Sr. Accounts Payable Manager. * Lead escheatment process with outsourcing partner and meet internal requirements * Drive compliance to invoicing standards * Lead electronic payment initiative * Research and resolve outstanding checks and wires in timely manner. * Responsible for all system testing and directing testing parameters for assigned resources * Act as a subject matter expert on cross functional projects; Act as the team lead and coordinator on special internal team projects as assigned.
