Route/Switch Network Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Route/Switch Network Engineer who can support enterprise routing and switching in a large strategic organization. Must be willing to go onsite everyday in Quantico, VA. The ideal Route/Switch Network Engineer must have an active US Government TS (SCI eligible) Security Clearance and can optimize the network independently with excellent consulting and communication skills.

Responsibilities of the Route/Switch Network Engineer include:

• Optimize complex networks through layer 2 through layer 3 support

• Considerable experience with end-to-end architecture/design work across several technology areas, as well as strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems

• Ability to work freely and thrive in a transformational environment

Requirements for the Route/Switch Network Engineer include:

• 8+ years of experience as a Network Engineer

• Proficient in enterprise routing and switching (Layers 2 - 4)

• Strong hands on experience with SD-WAN, SDA (Software-Defined Access), and DNA Center (Catalyst Center)

• Must be a US Citizen with a US Government TS (SCI eligible) Security Clearance

Compensation for the Route/Switch Network Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $140,000-$160,000 depending on experience
