Job Summary:

The Route Transactions Manager is responsible for managing the route sale process from initial prospect submission to transaction closing. The Route Transaction Manager will lead a group of 5-10 employees and is responsible for compliance of the parameters of the Route Transaction process, Route Loan Program, and the consistent application of the route valuation model. This position will work with Independent DSD Partners ("IDPs"), field sales management, Legal department, third party vendors, and various internal departments to deliver superior customer service.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Completes Route Sale Summary to ensure route valuation is calculated in adherence to policy by division and financial calculations are complaint within the parameters of current contracts
  • Maintains accurate contractual records for all IDP profiles
  • Collaborates with Business Development Managers and Field Sales team to maintain a continual flow of transactions for open route closure including holding regular, periodic meetings to ensure alignment
  • Acts as the liaison between prospect and internal departments such as Legal, Route Engineering, Route Account Management, Master Data and DSD Support throughout entire transaction process
  • Manages credit application process and process improvement initiatives with associated lending partners
  • Ensures timeliness of credit decision with financing partners
  • Ensures timeliness of IDP insurance policy review with third party vendor
  • Takes ownership of successful route closing rate in assigned area of responsibility by monitoring progress and performance targets
  • Leads weekly system development calls with third party vendor to ensure maintenance of the tool meets expectations and drives evolution of efficiency desired for the team over time
  • Reviews and audits electronic and paper loan documents once signatures have been obtained
  • Collaborates with the Legal department to execute all contract versions in compliance with given parameters contained within each; initiates any new contract version on conjunction with the Legal Department
  • Confirms receipt of all payments due, including down payment, before execution and funding of loan
  • Analyzes and identifies processes that need improvement and/or automation, designs new procedures, and provides guidance to team members regarding the change. Carries out design and implementation of process improvement.
  • Participates in projects, assists teammates, and performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Calculates financial data points such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, SAP, Sales Force, Adobe EchoSign, DocuSign, and Service Now are preferred.
  • Solves practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Strong analytical skills are required to research, evaluate, and propose solutions to complex issues. Possesses a meticulous attention to detail and accuracy are required, along with strong organizational skills. This role requires someone who can see the big picture, yet still roll up their sleeves and dive into the details to address issues at a granular level. A strong sense of ownership and responsibility over the areas and teams assigned is necessary.

Physical Requirements:

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, business or related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years' work-related experience required.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$72,900-$117,300

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
