Responsibilities
Mission Linen Supply is currently looking for a Route Supervisor. The Route Supervisor is responsible for providing support to the Route Sales and Service Representative (RSSR) and ensuring that customers are properly serviced. This is a union position that acts as a liaison between management and route drivers, including the relay of directions and checking routes in. May occasionally fill in for absent drivers.

Qualifications
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedules and coordinates routes and customer service to ensure that the quality of service provided is in compliance with company standards. Ensures that schedules are adhered to and that routes are covered at all times. Schedules and coordinates special deliveries
Administers training programs for RSSR in company systems, policies, and procedures.
Maintains a system for minimizing customer complaints and ensuring that when complaints occur they are handled by the proper management level to eliminate loss of quality business.
Maintains company goodwill through routine personal contact with customers.
Ensures proper accounting of all money due the company.
Supervises the activities of RSSR assigned in meeting or exceeding their weekly sales quotas through expansion of business in existing accounts and identification of potential new business.
Works with RSSR on their routes. Performs regular account evaluations. Follows‑up on sales campaigns and assists in promoting rental additions and minimizing rental reductions.
Evaluates routes and completes route evaluation forms. Provides routine reports for the Route Manager as required.
Inspects delivery vehicles on a regular basis to ensure safety of operation. Conducts defensive driver education programs. Implements and maintains preventive maintenance schedules. Maintains accident reports.
Checks and approves all paperwork on assigned routes, including credits and addition, add‑ons and step orders, and new accounts and renewals.
