Position Summary:

The Route Settlement Clerk will ensure information is collected from the Route Settlement communications e-mail box, reviewed, and input accurately and timely so that shipments settle on the same day. This will include working with the Field Finance Administration team and other company representatives. This role will have the primary responsibility to ensure daily settlement of all driver shipments.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Data entry, research, correct, and settle all shipments daily for all facilities

  • Process correction requests from the Route Settlement communications e-mail box

  • Provide clerical and project support to Field Finance teams

  • Communicate information regarding customer and driver discrepancies to appropriate managers

  • Assist other team members and supervisor with analyzing and producing various reports

  • Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Six plus months of data entry experience

  • Experience in a fast-paced office, accounting or logistics environment

  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office tools

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to problem solve

  • Strong work ethic

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently

  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working with SAP or other ERP software

  • Associate's degree

  • Accounting or Logistics planning experience

This role is also responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, cleaning and basic troubleshooting of CIP and blending system. Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: * Interpret the production schedule, daily concentrate inventory, and other documents, to prepare for incoming ingredients and production of blends. * Provide samples of product to QA for analysis as needed in a timely manner. * Efficient pass downs and communication to team members and management. * Ensure the setup, operation, and cleanliness of the chipper, pumps, lines, hoses, tanks, etc. * Inspect equipment and area for food safety & personal safety issues before starting and throughout shift. * Ensure record keeping, documentation, SOP's are followed and enter data into tracking system. * Evaluate opportunities for improvement of process. * Transfer product from barrels and totes to salts tanks as needed. * Perform ingredient inventories and First Expired First Out * Assist maintenance as necessary with work. * Maintain good housekeeping and GMP's. * Inspect ingredients for foreign objects to ensure quality standards are met. * Remove and record all tags from each tote used. * Ensure duties on Master Sanitation Schedule are completed. * Other projects or duties as assigned. Preferred Skills and Experience: * Previous experience in Food Manufacturing facility a plus Position Requirements: Required Skills and Experience: * HSD/GED * Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations to formulate blends * Must be able to perform basic computer skills (screen navigation, data input, etc.) * Must be flexible in work schedule (all shifts) and able to work overtime as needed * Must be able to drive Forklift – training will be provided * Must be able to work in a fast pace environment * Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be alert at all times. * Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions (cleaning, batching, etc.) * Work in a team environment * Multi-taking ability * Must take accountability for all the tasks. * Must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate in English to all management personnel and others in the department in order to read records an document all necessary forms to perform the responsibilities * This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
