The Route Settlement Clerk will ensure information is collected from the Route Settlement communications e-mail box, reviewed, and input accurately and timely so that shipments settle on the same day. This will include working with the Field Finance Administration team and other company representatives. This role will have the primary responsibility to ensure daily settlement of all driver shipments.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Data entry, research, correct, and settle all shipments daily for all facilities
Process correction requests from the Route Settlement communications e-mail box
Provide clerical and project support to Field Finance teams
Communicate information regarding customer and driver discrepancies to appropriate managers
Assist other team members and supervisor with analyzing and producing various reports
Other projects or duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
Six plus months of data entry experience
Experience in a fast-paced office, accounting or logistics environment
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to problem solve
Strong work ethic
Ability to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects
Strong organizational skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience working with SAP or other ERP software
Accounting or Logistics planning experience
