Description:Position Summary Follow procedures and good business practices that will enable your route to grow to potential.
Work closely with customer and support all sales initiatives to achieve expectations. Responsible for customer development with regard to ordering, merchandising, and display opportunities.Key Job ResponsibilitiesCall on assigned accounts and store management to maintain relationships and solve customer issues
Maintain appropriate product levels in the bread aisle and display locations throughout the account, promoting growth
Responsible for route operational activity, including ordering and distribution, merchandising, promotional activity, holiday planning, and meeting customer expectations
Communicate with customers to assist them in understanding the promotional activity, and understand what our customer delivery expectations are
Ensure that product distribution is accomplished to customer satisfaction in agreement with any contract terms and requirements
Analyze account sales data to achieve optimal distribution of product to achieve sales goals and maximize freshness and related expenses
Assist customer relations to include selling of new products, and space/position gains
Solicit new business within the route territory
Represent BBU as a leader in the baking business
Other duties as assigned
Key Behavioral CompetenciesAbility to recognize and encourage the behaviors that contribute to teamwork
Must be computer literate, Hand-Held Computer (HHC) preferred
Must possess a valid drivers license and safe driving record
Must follow all DOT regulations and be able to pass a DOT physical and DOT Road TestMust have excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to provide a high level of customer service and solve customer issues as they arise
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. overhead
Must be able to push/pull a minimum of 50 lbs.Must be able to stack product according to sales center stacking procedures
Ability to work early mornings and holidays
Ability to work a M, T, Th, F, and Sat weekly schedule
Must be at least 21 years of age
