The Room Service Cashier answers questions on menu selections and takes room service orders of hotel guests. Communicates with the culinary department regarding menu questions, the length of wait, and product availability. Communicates additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Checks in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages. Maintains cleanliness of work areas.
One to two years prior room service experience.
Some wine and fine food knowledge helpful.
Read, write and speak English fluently.
Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members.
Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
