The Room Service Call Center Rep obtains orders from patients and families via telephone in an efficient and timely manner; making sure accuracy and diet compliances are followed, conducts report processing as directed.

Responsibilities
Obtains meal orders from patients and families via the telephone and faxed requests.
Enters meal orders into the system established for menu processing.
Verifies meal orders meet diet order parameters.
Process credit card charges following confidential and privacy guidelines.
Coordinates call center processes with production and tray assembly areas.
Acts as a liaison between Nutrition Services, the patient, family and nursing units.
Demonstrates computer literacy.
Creates service culture.
Presents a professional appearance in the uniform prescribed by the department at all times.
Qualifications
Education Requirement: High School Graduate or equivalent
Skills:
Ability to use computer efficiently
Ability to communicate to others in a clear concise manner
Ability to use headset on phone, while placing order in computer
Customer service skills.
Knowledge of credit card processing.
Experience: 3 months food service experience
