  • Ensure that rooms and public areas are cleaned and sanitized to standards

  • Ensures that rooms have clean linen, bedding and towels

  • Ensures that rooms are stocked with soap, tissues, drinking glasses, etc.

  • Reports any non-working equipment or possible repairs to the GM/Maintenance

  • Search room for items guest has left behind and turn them in to the front desk

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Minimum of 1 year in Housekeeping role

  • Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred


  • Ability to multi-task

  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

  • Team player

  • Ability to exceed expectations of guests

  • Knowledge of cleanliness standards

Position Summary: Hotel LeVeque is looking for full time and part time Room Attendants that want to be a part of our fun and cooperative team. Experience working as a housekeeping associate with a hotel is preferred but more importantly we are looking for a passion for creating beautiful spaces, pride in what you do, and an attention to detail. What your job entails: * Your main role will be to clean and style guest rooms, public areas, and employee areas of the hotel with efficiency and attention to detail. * You will refresh and replenish guest rooms with amenities, supplies, and linen. * You will prevent guest issues by inspecting rooms and reporting anything that needs repaired or replaced. * You will model the highest possible example in conduct, temperament, attendance, punctuality, and standards of work. * You will work as in integral part of the hotel team, using all performance metric tools, to meet our cleanliness, customer service, and revenue goals. * You will take on any additional tasks. * Vacuums rooms, public areas and hallways, operating vacuums weighing up to 25lbs., and lifting/moving heavy furniture in order to vacuum entire area of carpet including underneath furniture and hard to reach areas. * Inspects all room equipment (TV, lights/lamps, faucets, radios) to ensure proper working order and immediately reports all room status and room maintenance deficiencies, in writing, to the Executive Housekeeper for prompt repair/resolution. * Secures and maintains custody of equipment, keys and supplies at all times in order to protect and preserve hotel property. Minimum Requirements * You have two-three years of housekeeping experience. Preferably with a hotel. * You must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays. * You must be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing/pulling and kneeling while cleaning. * You have a strong attention to detail. * You are able to follow written and verbal directions.
