Roof Service Technician

Ensure safe work practices and compliance with OSHA safety standards at all times * Execute work orders and roof service jobs with a strong emphasis on detail and quality * Ensure completion of daily-logs on buildertrend to provide job and schedule updates * Keep assigned work truck clean, maintained, and stocked * Manage all assigned tools, equipment, and material (including company vehicles)* Notify Supervisor/Account Managers of any potential changes to the job immediately * Check weather forecast and plan ahead to maintain schedule and limit risk daily * Report job incidents, accidents, concerns, and issues with supervisor the same day * Document project information and communicate with stakeholders in a timely manner * Submit receipts to accounting weekly * Efficiently work with Lead Service Technician including communicating project schedule adjustmentsWhat do I need?* HS Diploma or GED* 2 or more years of experience in roofing (extensive knowledge of various systems, applications and repairs including TPO, PVC, Tile, Shingle, Metal Roofing, Roof Coating, Modified-Bitumen: Torch Down, Cold Process, Self Adhered)* OSHA 10-hour training (minimum) - (or be willing to obtain if offered a position)* Must be able to obtain security clearance on federal job sites * Pass initial drug test and participate in random drug test program * Possess and maintain clean driving record, valid driver's license and be willing to complete DOT Certification * Eligible to work in the United States * Experience with utilizing a tablet and software such as Microsoft Office, Gmail, Google Calendar * Willing to learn Buildertrend and FCS Roofing SoftwareWhat is it like?* Fun, Energetic, Family Oriented Team Members * Opportunities for advancement * Elevated work (work on rooftops, heights)* Outdoors (in all types of weather)* Overtime, weekends may be needed * Frequent bending, kneeling, walking, climbing, carrying and lifting (50lbs or greater)What do we offer?Competitive pay, excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, life insurance, 401K with a company match, and more!
