OverviewNovant Health is seeling an ROI Specialist Lead to be responsible for assisting management with coordinating workflows related to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness and compliance with all ROI workflows across the enterprise for acute and ambulatory facilities. This includes the oversight of receiving, processing, and assessment of all incoming requests for PHI.

The ROI Specialist Lead will act as a subject matter expert in all release types and work queues and will also assist management with the coordination of employee workflow assignment and quality assurance. The ROI Specialist Lead will also act as a resource for all ROI Techs and Specialists, and will assist with any training/on-boarding efforts. Provides customer service to callers to the ROI department as appropriate.

Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma required. Associates degree preferred.

  • Experience: Five years of exp in hospital medical records or release of information department required.

  • Licensure/certification/registration: RHIT preferred.

  • Additional skills required: Must possess excellent analytical skills and customer service skills.

    Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Must have the ability to multitask and work independently with limited supervision. Must be able to meet standardized productivity metrics/goals.

    Should have a strong working knowledge of HIPAA requirements. Must be comfortable in a computer based workflow. Must have a working knowledge and/or familiarity with acute care medical records and hospital regulatory environment. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.

  • Additional skills preferred: Experience with the EPIC EHR and/or Hyland On Base scanning application.
