Job Description
The Rohr Café Lead will assist the Café Manager in leading day-to-day operations during their scheduled shifts. Rohr Café Lead is responsible for acting with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote the café and Starbucks standards; maintain calm demeanor during high volume hours to ensure business operations run smoothly and efferently; assist Café Manager in training new student shift supervisors and baristas; create a positive learning environment to grow existing and new employees; develop positive relationships with the team and guests. The Café Lead is required to follow and assist in implementing health and safety sanitation guidelines as provided by Rohr and the state of Ohio.
The Café Lead assists the Café Manager with oversight of 2 student shift supervisors and our 9-12 student baristas; assist in ordering products, specifically Coca-Cola products and food prepared by The Blackwell Inn. The Café Lead will assist in growing the store's part-time/student staff from sitting in on interviews to training when they start to grow our students throughout their time with us.
Rohr Café is typically a Monday-Friday operation, but due to the recurrent nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel and conference center.
Minimum Education Required
High School diploma or GED; Certification or vocational training may be required; Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
Additional Education Desired
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications
Required: punctual, motivational skills, works well under pressure, and excellent communication skills.

Additional Information:
The pay range for this position is $15.29 - $20.41 (min - mid). The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's education and experience.
This position qualifies for overtime, shift and weekend differential.
